Carne Golf Links was the last links golf course to be designed by the late Eddie Hackett and is now believed by many who have played there to be his greatest challenge.

It is one of the finest golf courses to have opened in recent years, and it can only be described as a hidden gem. Situated on the west coast of Ireland, Carne lies in the splendid sand dunes overlooking Blacksod Bay, the legendary Inis Geidhe and Inis Gluaire Islands and dramatic Achill.

When Carne Golf Links was built it caused little disturbance to the ancient landscape, the tees and the greens occurred naturally and very little earth was moved during the course construction.

With its breathtaking views and great design Carne Golf Links is the ideal course to play. If you are thinking of taking a golf break in Ireland why not fly into Knock Airport, approximately 130 kilometres away and play this course.
