This is an exceptional golfing destination, set between the ocean and the national park Mountains. Here you are transported hundreds of years back in history, and the actual course looks as if has been a part of a picture.

For a long while we ruled out the total absence of any relief over the first few holes and the serious business only really starts at the 8th. Then come a number of gems especially the 8th, 9th and the superb 13th and all the closing holes then from the 15th onward.

Nine additional and pretty spectacular holes can now replace the original front 9, although the best idea is to play all 27. Whichever holes you play, this layout effectively reminds you of the real state of your game, and experience will come in handy if you want to card a good score.

At Connemara the fairway bunkers are more or less dangerous, depending on the wind, and the same goes for the rough, there are some formidable thickets, which are more or less in play.
