Golf in Dublin

Ireland's bustling capital is a cosmopolitan city and has a population of over 1 million (roughly a third of the population of the Republic). It is easily reached by air and sea with regular services to mainland UK and Europe and direct flights to the USA, and is likely to be your first port of call in Ireland

There is a huge choice of accommodation in Dublin city centre, or if you prefer in the quieter suburbs. Golf courses are of a high quality, and are to be found both North and South of Dublin. These are just a short drive of the city centre.

To the South of Dublin, the County of Wicklow has been encroached upon by the city, making for a quick road connection to golf courses such as the very scenic Roundwood Golf Club and Druid's Glen.

To the North of Dublin, Malahide Golf Club, St. Margaret's (host of the Seniors Open) and Portmarnock (host of the Irish Open) are just a few of several other golf clubs.

Dublin is also home to a large number of attractions including, the Irish National Gallery, the Book of Kells, Trinity College and of course theatres, bars and pubs.
