This 18 hole Parkland course, designed by Peter McEvoy, is nestled between the Irish Sea and the Sugarloaf Mountains. Measuring 6,443 yards from the championship tees, the entire course has been designed and built to USGA specifications with sand-based greens and tees.

The natural contours of the land have been shaped to provide golfing conditions to delight whilst maintaining the splendour of the existing landscape. It's natural valleys and slopes, lakes, and gorse outcrops combined with fairway bunkering, expert shaping and undulating greens have plenty to make the course challenging for golfers of all abilities. The use of providence grass on the greens provides a smooth putting surface, the equal of any in the world.

The Club House. A Culinary Experience with Historic Twists and named after the ancient Ring Fort on our championship course. With seating for 120, the Raheen restaurant is set overlooking the rolling picturesque landscape of Gen of the Downs. Raheen Restaurant Serving traditional food with a contemporary twist, its setting is as unique as the view, an idyllic place to host corporate entertainment or lose yourself in a stunning choice of wonderful food and fine wine with family and friends.

The pavilion at Glen of the Downs Golf Club is spacious and contemporary in design. It offers facilities to enhance your golfing round. Spacious Locker rooms, Golf shop and cosy Spike bar provide the golfer with the perfect start to their golfing round.

The Greenside Terrace. A unique feature of the Pavilion is the Greenside terrace. You can dine alfresco whilst savouring the breathtaking views of this truly remarkable course.
